Monochrome birthday card

Hello and welcome to my blog, today I would like to share with you a monochrome card I've made using flower and foliage stamps
Please see all details and products used below:

• I started with a 7x7 white card blank
• I matted and layered a black piece of cardstock, and a patterned piece to the base, on the black card I've ran around the edge with a glue pen and added some iridescent glitter
• On a white piece of 6x6 cardstock I have stamped a frame in the centre and a birthday sentiment inside
• Next I've taken my stamps and stamped and cut out a mask from copy paper for each one.
• I've masked the frame and sentiment and started to stamp my image all the way around the frame in a clockwise direction. once I have stamped my flower or foliage I have masked it off so that I can over lap my image without it interfering with the other flowers that I've previously stamped, I've built this up until it had nicely filled the 6x6 card, I've then removed all the masks to reviel the image as shown
• Next I have matted and layered this piece onto a black and a white layer and added to the front of my card
• I have added a few gems to the corners and added a little bit of glitter to the centre of the flowers to finish.

Products used:
• Hunkydory card stock in black and white
• Patterned paper was metallic mono from Docrafts, papermania
• frame stamp is creative essentials from Docrafts
• Flowers and foliage stamps are rose mallow, clematis flower, flower starburst, and spring foliage all from Chloe's creative cards
• Birthday sentiment is from Happy birthday sentiments set from Chloe's creative cards

Happy birthday

Hello and welcome to my blog. This card was inspired by Chloe From Chloe's creative cards, I love all her designs and recently purchased a lot of her products.
Please see instructions and products used below:
This card was made for a challenge blog, a perfect time to craft - anything goes challenge Please use link to see all creations
https://aperfecttimetocraft.blogspot.com/2020/05/a-perfect-time-to-craft-open-challenge.html?m=1

• I started with two 7x7 card blanks I cut one half of each card down the centre at 3.5" and stuck both of the cards together to form a gate fold card.
• I then cut two lilac card panels and two white card panels both slightly smaller and matted and layered onto the base.
• I cut another two panels in lilac card stock and stamped and heat embossed the geometric background, I then used some dries clear glue and glued in between all the patterned background and added glitter to all the open spaces, and fixed these panels to the base
• For the flowers I stamped two large, two medium and two white flowers onto lilac card and heat embossed in white embossing powder, then I stamped out each one of the flowers again onto vellum and heated embossed in a glitter embossing power and cut them out. I shaped the flowers with my tweezers and layered them up with glue gel and added a lilac crystal in the middle.
• I then die cut three circle shapes and stamped and heat embossed my sentiment in silver embossing powder and layered the circles up with foam pads. When attaching the sentiment piece I ensured to only glue half of it down so the card could open in the middle, then I added some gems to finish.

Products used:
• Chloe's creative cards luxury pearl card stock in kunzite and white
• Chloe's creative cards geometric background stamp
• Chloe's creative cards rose mallow stamp

Bee Crafty tag

Hello and welcome to my blog, today I am sharing with you something very different and out of my comfort zone, this tag was made using a subscription box full of goodies from Paper craft Society (Box 8, Bee crafty) The box contains papers, card stock, dies, two stamp sets, stencils, ink, embossing paste, spatula, and also a free £5 gift voucher for Craftstash UK The subscription is through Craftstash UK.
Please see details and products used below:

• I first used one of the dies to cut out the tag from white card stock I then used the inks that came in the box (pink, yellow and green) and blended a solid background with a blending tool, I left this to dry for 20 minutes or so
• Next I used one of the stencils - the butterfly. I taped the stencil in place and using the the spatula provided I spread the embossing paste through the stencil, whilst still wet I removed the stencil and using a flicking motion with a brush I added some bronze perfect pearls over the top and heat embossed with my heat gun
• I then used one of the smaller butterfly stamps and a black ink and stamped over the embossed image.
• Next I used some more of the stamps with clear perfect medium and the bronze perfect pearls around the edges of the tag
• I stamped the pocket watch with black ink towards the left hand corner and the Roman numerals at the bottom left hand corner
• The sentiment time flies I thought matched perfectly with the theme, so I stamped that in black above the butterfly
• to complete the grungy look to this tag I then inked all around the edge with a brown ink and blending tool.

Products used:
• Mostly everything used in this project came with the box subscription, incredible value for money at £24.99 considering the amount of products you get, each month there is a different designer and different products to try. Using this box took me away from what I would usually make and that's what I loved about it, you get to try something completely different each time you receive your box.
• Bronze Perfect pearls by Ranger
• Black versa fine Clair ink
• Clear perfect medium embossing ink from Ranger
