Creative Fingers - Jan's Stamps Thank you card

 Hello and welcome to my blog, today I would like to share with you a thank you card I have made for my DT inspiration this month.

This month we have decided to make a card to say thank you for our sponsors throughout the year and I chose to make a card for Jan's Digi Stamps.

And finally here is my card, please see all details and products used below:


  • To make this card I have started with a 5'' x 7'' white base card, I have cut a white panel a 1/4 of an inch smaller than the base and used a large polka dot stencil and inked through with a pink ink onto the back ground to create some interest, I then attached this to my base card using foam pads.
  • Next I have printed the image from Jan's Digi stamps which was Single rose I have coloured and fussy cut the images and layered them together on the bottom left hand side of my card using foam pads.
  • I used a pre-cut die sentiment and placed this over the image. For a final finishing touch I have added some adhesive gems to the corners.

Polkadoodles Advent calendar card

  Hello and welcome to my blog, today I am sharing with you my DT inspiration for Polkadoodles, the theme was to create an Advent window card, I have used the Winnie white Christmas and Winnie Winterland big sets to create this card.

And here is my card, all details and products used can be found below:



  • To make this card I have started by creating the base card, I have made an 8''x8'' top folded white base card and added a red mirror mat layer to the front. 
  • Next I have printed a Digi patterned paper from the Winnie Winterland big Kahuna set and added that to the front panel. I also printed another Digi paper and elements from the Winnie white Christmas Big Kahuna set and the main image from Winnie Winterland.
  • I have colour the main image with a combination of both Tri-blend markers and Pro Markers and cut out with a fancy square nesting die.
  • I cut some more mats and layers with the same nesting die set and Digi paper and the red matt mirror card and created an opening window to reveal the image on the inside. 
  • I added the nested elements to the front of the base  card with wet glue and also added the embellishments with foam pads.

A Perfect Time To Craft - Dr Digi

 Hello and welcome to my blog, today I would like to share with you my design team inspiration for A Perfect Time to Craft using the wonderful Sponsor Dr. Digi's and the Image X Files Xmas. This type of card was very different for me, but I enjoyed creating it.

And finally here is my card, all details and products used can be found below: 




  • To make this card I have started with a white 5''x7'' base card, I cut a white panel 1/4 of an inch smaller than the base and I have used my water reactive inks to blend a background, then using black ink around the edges to draw you eye in.
  • I have used a bright green in the centre then purple fading into a grey to give it the illusion of a galaxy background theme.
  • I then sprinkled water over the top as well as some speckles of white paint. 
  • I printed the X Files Xmas Digital stamp and created a sentiment using word. I coloured the image with my Tri- blend and Pro markers and fussy cut it out.
  • I added the background panel, the image and the sentiment to the front of the card using foam pads. 
  • I added in a some small star glitter confetti to the background panel to complete the card.

Creative fingers DT post

 Hello and welcome to my blog, today I would like to share with you my DT card as inspiration for this month. This months sponsor is the lovely Angelique, and you have the chance of winning an awesome stamp set. And here Is my inspiration using JoKavanaghDesigns and the image Christmas Sloth. All details and products used are below:


  • To make this card I have started with a 7''x7'' white base card, I have added a blue mirror and blue glitter mat layers and attached with wet glue.
  • I have printed my image Christmas Sloth and coloured with Tri-blend and Pro Markers and cut down to a 6''x6'' panel I have attached this to the base card using foam pads
  • Next I have created a sentiment using an Alternew stamp set I received free from a magazine. I have layered this onto a mirror and glitter card stock to match the background and adhered to the middle of the card using foam pads.

Polkadoodles - Thank you

  Hello and welcome to my blog, today I am sharing with you my DT inspiration for Polkadoodles, the theme was Thank you or thanksgiving so I chose an autumnal colour theme using Darling buds digiAutumn sunflower digi and elements, and Tropical sorbet Digi Paper

  • To make this card I have started with the base card, I have used my fancy nesting die to create the base then also die cut from Tropical sorbet Digi Paper pack a mat layer to sit on the front.
  • I printed my Image and the elements for this card, then coloured the Darling buds digi image to fit with the theme. 
  • I added half a white paper doyley across the centre fixing it with wet glue, then added the rest of my elements including the sentiment with foam pads.

Thank you card

 Hello and welcome to my blog, today I would like to share with you a very simple slimline thank you card I've made.


I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:


And here is my card, all details and products used are below:


  • To make this card I have started with the base, I have folded in half a white sheet of A4 cardstock used my DL nesting dies, running it through the die cutting machine with the edge just hanging over the crease fold. I then used the same nesting die set to create a silver mirror card mat layer and a white watercolour cardstock piece.
  • On the white watercolour cardstock piece I have stamped my flower image and used my water colour pencils to watercolour the image.
  • Once dry I have used a large spotty stencil and inked through on to the background with a pale blue ink and my blending tool.
  • Finally I stamped my thank you sentiment to the right hand side.

Creative Fingers - Bugaboo Stamps

And finally here is my card, all details and products used are below:


  • To start with I have created a 5''x7'' white base card, I have used a black mat layer and a white mat layer. On the white piece I have run this through my die cutting machine with a 3D embossing folder. I have adhered both layers to the front of my card with wet glue.
  • The next thing I have done is print my Bugaboo image and created a sentiment on Avery design and print programme.
  • I have coloured my image with a combination of Tri-blend markers and Pro markers and fussy cut, propping the image up on foam pads I adhered to my card front.
  • I have then used a sentiment strip die and cut my sentiment out and also attached to my card using foam pads.
  • For a final finishing touch I have attached a red sparkly bow to the glass image.
