Llama birthday

Hello and welcome to my blog, today I would like to share with you a quirky Llama birthday card, I think this is so different and cute, I had a lot of fun creating it.
Please see all instructions and and products used below:

  • For this card I started with the background and blended my shimmer inks in pink orange and yellow using blending tool, leaving the inked background to dry for a little while I then stamped ever the background with a starry background stamp and a clear perfect medium and added perfect pearls over the top, the effect is faint on photos but gives a lovely subtle shimmer in real life
  • Next I inked up my Llama stamp with versa fine back ink and stamped the image directly onto the blended background
  • I added some glitter to the flowers on the stamped image and die cut a happy birthday sentiment, in black card stock and iridescent mirror card
  • Finally I added some black iridescent gems to the background stars to finish and mounted this with foam pads to black and iridescent mirror card mats and added to a 5x7 base card.
Products used:
  • Black card stock from Lynda's word of paper
  • Iridescent mirror card from Dovecraft essentials
  • Prism shimmer inks in the shades dusky rose, orange zest and canary yellow
  • Star drop background stamp from Chloe's creative cards
  • Clear perfect medium and perfect pearls from Ranger
  • Llama stamp from Katy Sue designs - adventures into creativity set by Emma Boyes
  • Sparkelicious glitter in lemon sherbet and tuti-fruity and happy birthday die set from Chloe's creative cards
