Hello and welcome to my blog, today I would like to share with you a slimline DL card I have created using Clearly besotted stamps pop up Christmas. I love the way these cheeky little charters pop up over the windows, they are certainly trying to get a sneak peek at something :)
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
- Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas challenge #513
- Crazy for challenges #C4C558
- Gem of a challenge #22
- Crafters castle challenge #34
- Send a smile for kids - anything goes
And her is my card, all details and products used are below:
- To make this card I have started with a Slimline DL base card and I've created a white mat layer. on this layer I have cut out 6 little hexagon windows.
- I have covered the white layer with a brickwork stencil and with my ink pads and blending sponge I have rubbed over the top to created the brickwork look. I then Inked around the edges with a darker ink and added some dries clear glue and a little bit of glitter. I've attached the brickwork layer to the base card with foam pads to raise the piece up.
- I have then stamped, coloured and fussy cut all my little peeking characters and my sentiment from the clearly besotted stamp set and glued these behind the windows flat with wet glue and added my sentiment to the top right with foam pads.
Products used:
- Clearly besotted - pop up Christmas characters stamp set
- Hunkydory hexagon layering dies (smallest)
- Rustic wall stencil from Chloe's creative cards
- Hunkydory shimmer prism ink pads in smoked paprika and roasted coffee
- Pro markers
