Guest Designer Penny's Papercraft Challenge #week 484

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I am super excited to share with you a card I have created for Penny's paper-crafty challenge #week 484. I was asked to join this challenge as a guest designer after winning a challenge I entered with a previous card. I want to say a huge hank you to Linda for inviting me, and also to Hetty Clare Digi stamps for my wonderful prizes. (I will be creating a future post with these designs)

The sponsor for this challenge is All dressed up Digi stamps what a wonderful image this was to work with. Be sure to check out her store with the link provided, you can also join her Facebook group here All dressed up FB group.

Here is where you can find Penny's papercraft challenge Penny's paper-crafty challenge check out her blog and the makes of the wonderful design team and enter your makes into the challenge to be in with the chance of winning some fantastic prizes.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

And finally here is my inspiration. All details and products used are below:

  • I started by printing the beautiful image from All dressed up - Christmas couple and colouring with my pro markers, I also added some glitter accents and fussy cut the image.
  • I have used an 8''x8'' scalloped white base card, I have created a black mat layer and a tartan Christmas backing paper layer to sit on the front of the base card.
  • To frame the image I have used my hexagon die cut frames and layered them up using black and white card stock and another Christmas paper in the background. I glued my image to the centre of the frame using wet glue. I have then added the framed image to my card using foam pads to raise it up for some dimension.
  • To add some finishing touches to my card I have added some paper flowers and a bow to the corner and a pre cut Christmas sentiment to the bottom right.
Products used:
  • All dressed up - Christmas couple Digi image from All dressed up Digi stamps
  • Pro markers
  • Sparkelicious glitters from Chloe's creative cards
  • Christmas pattered papers free from a magazine
  • Black and white card stock from Crafters Companion
  • Sue Wilson - Creative expressions Noble collection classic adorned Hexagon die cut frames
  • Paper flowers and ribbon form Hobby house
  • Pre-cut Christmas sentiment from Dove craft
