Hello and welcome to my blog, today I would like to share with you a card I have made using the Crafters Companion Interchangeable sentiment dies - wild flowers, I have created this card for my design team inspiration. Here are the details:
Interchangeable Sentiment Dies - Wild Flowers
Make every occasion special with a beautiful and personalised card from the Gemini Interchangeable Sentiment Dies collection! These dies have been designed to provide a gorgeous and delicate background, along with three sentiments that you can switch out according to the occasion.
The Wild Flowers set includes five dies to create a background frame bursting with cheerful blooms, with space for a trio of caring sentiments. Each features a thoughtful message, ‘Sending Love’, ‘Sending Hugs’ and ‘Sending Kisses’ - so you can create several cards with this theme.
Simply select your sentiment, place it inside the outer frame, create your plate combination, run through your die-cutting machine, and voila! A decorative frame with a die-cut sentiment inside.
To change the sentiment, just swap it out for another and secure in place with low tack tape!
Sized to fit perfectly on your card bases these dies can be used to create a focal sentiment or as an additional topper for your larger makes. Why not explore the whole range to see the full variety of sentiments available, from Happy Birthday to Get Well Soon, whatever message you want to send, we’ve got you covered!
And here is a card I created, all details and products used are below:
- To make this card I have used a 7''x7'' base card and turned it into an easel card, I cut an extra 7''x7'' white layer for the top. I have cut two gold matt mirror card layers measuring 6.75''x6.75'', I also cut two red matt layers measuring 6.5''x6.'' and finally two white matt layers measuring 6.25''x6.25''. On these two white layers I have inked through a stencil with black ink, before attaching these layers I have wrapped a piece of red ribbon around the middle and adhered to the back panel, then glued all the layers in place with wet glue.
- Next I have taken the interchangeable sentiment die, I have chosen the sending love sentiment and run this through the machine on gold matt mirror card, I've then run the decorative piece through on red card and the backing piece with black card. I have layered these together and attached to the card using foam pads.
- For the decorative heart in the centre I have die cut a larger red heart and run over this with a stencil and black ink, then I have used a decorative heart die cut and run it through the matt gold mirror card and backed it with red card and attached them all to the base card with foam pads.
- To finish this card off I have added a red bow and some red gems.
Love the colour scheme
