This month I have ''shopped my stash'' and created a card with this beautiful Champagne Celebrations create-a-card dies from Crafters Companion.
Here is my card, all details and products used are below:
- To make the card I have started with a White 5''x7'' top folded base card. I have placed the decorative die on the top fold and run it through the die cutting machine (with my card open), I have then scored the top of the card in half to create an easel card.
- Next I have cut a white matt layer measuring 5''x7'' and also run this through the machine with the decorative die piece and the outer piece. I have done this once more on a piece o f patterned paper.
- I have glued the piece of patterned paper layer to the white die cut layer and fixed some acetate to the back for stability before gluing to the base card.
- I have used the same patterned paper to create a matt layer 5''x7'' for the bottom of the easel and attached this with wet glue.
- For my sentiment stopper I have stamped and heat embossing in silver embossing powder a Happy Anniversary sentiment onto white card, I have matted this onto a die cut patterned paper layer and attached to the bottom of the card using foam pads.
- To finish this card off I have added a bow and some gems for decoration.
