Creative Fingers - Jan's Stamps Thank you card

Hello and welcome to my blog, today I would like to share with you a thank you card I have made for my DT inspiration this month.

This month we have decided to make a card to say thank you for our sponsors throughout the year and I chose to make a card for Jan's Digi Stamps.

Here is where you can find our challenge blog.. Creative fingers challenge blog we would love you to come and share your creative makes with us, as always the theme is, anything goes. You will have the chance of winning some fabulous prizes, I hope to see you there.

This challenge was Jan's Digi stamps and you can find a link to her store here Jan's Digi stamps

And finally here is my card, please see all details and products used below:

  • To make this card I have started with a 5'' x 7'' white base card, I have cut a white panel a 1/4 of an inch smaller than the base and used a large polka dot stencil and inked through with a pink ink onto the back ground to create some interest, I then attached this to my base card using foam pads.
  • Next I have printed the image from Jan's Digi stamps which was Single rose I have coloured and fussy cut the images and layered them together on the bottom left hand side of my card using foam pads.
  • I used a pre-cut die sentiment and placed this over the image. For a final finishing touch I have added some adhesive gems to the corners.
Products used:
  • Jan's Digi stamps Single rose for my main image
  • Large polka dot stencil from Chloe's creative cards
  • Pink Tulip quick dry ink pad from Spectrum Noir
  • Tri blend markers from Spectrum Noir
  • Pre cut thank you sentiment die from Do Crafts

  • To make this card I have started by creating the base card, I have made an 8''x8'' top folded white base card and added a red mirror mat layer to the front.
  • Next I have printed a Digi patterned paper from the Winnie Winterland big Kahuna set and added that to the front panel. I also printed another Digi paper and elements from the Winnie white Christmas Big Kahuna set and the main image from Winnie Winterland.
  • I have colour the main image with a combination of both Tri-blend markers and Pro Markers and cut out with a fancy square nesting die.
  • I cut some more mats and layers with the same nesting die set and Digi paper and the red matt mirror card and created an opening window to reveal the image on the inside.
