Here is some more inspiration using the same Digi stamp - (Post and instructions to follow on blog)

  • To start with I have printed my Artsystamper Fall Flowers and the sentiment and fussy cut them out.
  • I have used a white 7''x7'' white base card and created a black mat layer which I have glittered around the edge and glued to the base card with wet glue
  • Next I have taken a white and gold pattered piece of card stock and created an aperture in the middle of the card using a fancy die set. I have then used the same die set to create a piece for my sentiment to sit on in black and gold. I have also glittered around the edge of  my sentiment and attached the sentiment with foam pads.
  • I have raised the aperture white and gold pattered piece of card stock up with some foam pads directly over the black mat layer then inlayed the sentiment feature so it sits down into the card.
  • With foam pads I have arranged my Fall flowers around the edge of the sentiment and added some gold sequins for decoration.
Products used:
  • Artsystamper Fall Flowers digital image and sentiment
  • Black, gold mirror cardstock is from Crafters Companion
  • White and gold patterned cardstock is 6x6 pad Metallic mono from Docrafts

Nan Christmas card

Hello and welcome to my blog, today I would like to share with you a beautiful card I've made for my Nan. I've used all of Chloe's creative card products and take so much inspiration from her cards, I really enjoyed making this one.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

And here is my card, all details and products used are below:

  • I have started with a white 8''x8'' scalloped base card, I created a champagne and cream mat layer, on the cream layer I have glittered around the edges and stuck these onto my base card with wet glue.
  • Next I have taken another champagne mat layer and used a star fall stencil and some embellishment mousse to create a starry background and left this to one side to dry.
  • Whilst my background was drying I have created my centre piece. To do this I have cut the geometric circle outline in the champagne card running it through my die cutting machine, then cut the backing circle in white with a double sided sticky sheet attached. I removed the sticky sheet and added glitter all over the circle piece, then glued the geo design over the top with wet glue.
  • I die cut my sentiments from the same champagne card and used the shadow die in cream. Once my stencilled baking piece was dry I've added all the layers to the base card and attached with foam pads.
  • Next thing I have done is concentrate on my flowers and foliage. I have stamped the large flower and heat embossed in gold embossing powder onto the champagne card and also onto vellum, I have cut these out using the matching dies from the set. I have then repeated this process with the smaller flowers and the foliage. With the foliage and the flowers I have added some accents of glitter and gems. I have glue these onto my card around the centre image using 3D gel.
  • The final thing I have done is decorate the inside of my card using some of the same cardstock as the mats and layers on the front and used a fancy nesting die. I then stamped a large circle sentiment in the middle and heat embossed in sparling gold embossing powder.
Products used:
  • Crafters Companion centura pearl champagne cardstock
  • 8''x8'' Cream winter wonderland cardstock stack from Chloe's creative cards
  • Twinkling star fall stencil from Chloe's creative cards
  • Nuvo mother of pearl embellishment mousse
  • Geometric circle die set from Chloe's creative cards
  • Sparkelicious glitter in Glitzen and champagne shimmer from Chloe's creative cards
  • Winter flower stamp and die set from Chloe's creative cards
  • Sprigs and twigs stamp and die set from Chloe's creative cards
  • Vellum from Crafters companion
  • Wow embossing powder in St Tropez from Chloe's creative cards
  • Christmas sentiment builder stamp and die set from Chloe's creative cards
  • Magic of Christmas circle stamp

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

And finally here is my inspiration, all details and products used can be found below:

  • To start with I have created a wreath with the single image rose on Avery design and print and printed the image and the sentiment off of my computer. I coloured the image with my Spectrum Noir tri-blend markers and colour blend pencils and fussy cut around the image. I die cut a circle in the middle of the wreath using my nesting dies, and also cut the sentiment from one of the small nesting circles from the same set. I created a white circle frame to sit around the middle of the Image also.
  • The next thing I have done is create my base card, to do this I have used an A5 white base card and cut a semi-circle from the top fold using the largest of my nesting circle dies, hanging the die over the edge of the fold. The card is still attached on both sides and is able to stand as a tent fold card.
  • I have added some decorative papers to the front panel of the base card and also to the inside. I have inked around the edge of my sentiment and created a pink bow with a dazzler jewel for the centre to hide the knot.
  • For the main image I have covered the back in acetate and glued this to the base card around the circle cut out piece, added my white frame to the centre with wet glue. I then added my sentiment to the acetate to give the illusion of it floating in the centre of the card.
  • The last thing I did was add a small pre-cut thank you sentiment to the bottom of the card to finish.
Products used:
  • Jan's Digi stamps Single rose image and sentiment
  • Spectrum noir tri-blend colour markers and colour blend pencils
  • Sue Wilson double stitched noble circle nesting dies

And finally here is my inspiration, all details and products used are below:

  • To make this card I have started with a  white 8''x8'' base card. I have then freehand drawn the shape of a snow globe and cut it out, leaving the hinge at the top of the card enabling you to open it in a tent fold orientation.
  • Next I have masked off the bottom of the card and placed over a stencil and applied a gold paste through the stencil, ensuring to remove the stencil and mask immediately after then left to one side to dry.
  • Whilst the paste was drying I have printed my Images, paper, sentiment and elements from the Winnie Winterland bundle and fussy cut them out.
  • Next I have used some large circle dies to sit on the front of the base card, layering them up and adhering using wet glue. Then I have taken the Digi stamp, Grandparents sentiment and other elements and attached to the front of the card as shown with foam pads.

And finally here is my inspiration, all details and products used are below:

  • To make this card I have started with a 5''x7'' white base card, next I have taken a piece of Digi patterned paper from The Hungry JPeg and a piece of blue shimmer paper. With the blue paper I have run this through my die cutting machine with a Nordic Christmas tree embossing folder. I have attached the patterned paper to the top of the card and then the embossed piece 3/4 of the way down also securing a piece of cream and gold ribbon to hide the join.
  • I have then cut some matts and layers with my nesting dies from gold mirror card, pastel blue and pastel yellow card and attached these to the front of the card using wet glue.
  • I have then printed my Image Mini Rudolph Digi Stamp and coloured him with pro markers, and also printed off my Merry Christmas sentiment from The Hungry JPeg and attached to the card using foam pads.
  • The last thing I did was use a small alphabet die to cut out the words Baby Boy from gold mirror card and stuck these down using wet glue. To add a little finishing touch I added a little wet glue and some glitter to Rudolph's collar.
Products used:
  • Image Mini Rudolph Digi Stamp from Some Odd Girl
  • Patterned paper and sentiment banner from The Hungry JPeg
  • Coloured card from paper boutique
  • Gold mirror card from Hunkydory
  • Rectangle nesting dies from Christina Griffiths 5x7 die set
  • Alphabet die
  • And Yellow glitter - sherbet lemon from Chloe's creative cards
