And finally here is my inspiration for this month, You can find all the details and products used below:

  • To start I have printed my image Floral Turtle on my brother laser printer and coloured using my alcohol markers (See colours used in products below). Once coloured I have fussy cut the image out.
  • Next I have taken a piece of white card stock and die cut the background with a sunburst background die by running this through my die cutting machine. I have then used my inks to add some colour to the sun and added a piece of yellow card stock behind the panel.
  • I have created a mask in the shape of some clouds with some copy paper and inked all around the background creating a sky full of fluffy clouds.
  • Next I have used some hillside dies in two different shade of green and some tree die cuts and added these to the bottom of the white piece of cardstock as seen.
  • For the sentiment I have used 'Everyone needs a friend like you' I thought this was really sweet and matched the image of the Turtle and the Lady bug perfectly.
  • I have then die cut some fluffy cloud shapes and embossed with a polka dot embossing folder to add a little texture and added these and the image to the card panel using foam pads. I have also used some Ranger glossy accents to the shell of the Turtle.
  • I have then added a little black and red matting to the back of the panel and attached to an A5 white card blank.
Products used:
  • Bugaboo image Floral Turtle
  • Hunkydory moonstone - starburst die
  • Prism shimmer inks in Canary Yellow, Apricot sorbet, Periwinkle and Blue lagoon
